The field sensors measure temperatures, flows, humidity and water levels
around the cooling system. The sensors are plugged into the sensor
distribution board. The sensor distribution board also provides power to
the sensors. From the sensor distribution board, a subset of signals is sent to the
custom ADC board. The custom ADC board is read out by the computer.
Another subset of the sensor signals is sent to the relay board. This
board decides if these sensor readings are normal. If something is wrong, a
signal is sent to the motor relay switch board. This board in turn
switches off the chillers, pump, fan and LV. Computer controls can override
these decisions.
