Large wedge test stand

The large wedges can be tested, in the absence of the large extension cables, using a small interface board. When the HDIs are bent, a stand needs to be made for this.
After bending, the wedges will be mounted in boxes, two per box. They are mounted up on posts with the connector tails pointing up. They will mate with the Hirose connectors visible in this view.
Readout and control cables connect to the backside. When making the ribbon cables, make sure the ribbons come off toward the top in this view, since the bottom connector rests on the bridge.

The bridge is wide and high enough to allow the big boxes underneath in the various orientations.

The bridge as shown can be used for downstream wedges, where the silicon will face up, such that a source test can be dont by placing the source over the wedge.

When testing upstream wedges, place the bridge on top of this box, which is high enough to accomodate the source under the opening in the platform.
The bridge can be reversed in its mounts.
