In the table below are summarized the various tolerances. I reiterate that these apply if you want to preserve the option of efficiently extracting the vertex using no alignment calibrations.

As for the global positioning, the vertex finding algorithm has been upgraded
so that is tolerant of lateral displacements of the MVD, relative to the mean
beam position, of at least 3 mm. In addition, the algorithm is insensitive to
small (at least 0.3 °) rotations of the MVD relative to the beam axis.This essentially removes global MVD
mounting requirements.
