Notes from the 6 Feb 2019 meeting
The dimensions of the nylon block are as shown below. The height of the standoff on which the stave is mounted is 22mm, and the distance from the center of this standoff to the center of the nylon block is 228mm.
(a) The stave holders are sketched perspective (b) specifies the distance between the reference surface and the stave mount holes. (c) Top view. The holes in the nylon block, and in the stave ends are 2mm diam. Note that the inside dimension of the box is 585mm, so the fit will be fairly tight.

Stave Mount Assembly EASM
Stave assembly in Fusion 360. The bottom plates (1/4" aluminum stock) each have 2 tapped holes for 10-32 screws, and 8 tapped holes for 4-40 screws. The long strips (1/4" Al stock) have a pair of through-holes on each end for the 4-40's, and along one edge 3 pairs of 4-40 threaded holes. Two of tabs (1/8" Al stock) have a pair of 4-40 through holes along the bottom, and a pair of holes for M2 screws. The third tab (1/8" Al stock) has the same holes on the bottom, but slots for M2's. We need 2 plates, 4 strips, 8 of the tabs with holes and 4 of the tabs with slots. plate.step long_strip.step small_tab_1.step small_tab_2.step stave_assembly.step
