| The heater controller (Omega CN7900) is supposed to be mounted in a panel. On the back of the controller is a screw-terminal block, where all connections, including the 110 AC power, are made. Not safe at all. I made a box to enclose the controller, The AC power goes to a double-pole main switch. The thermocouples are now connected wth small 2-pin thermocouple connectors. Since I had these, I also used them for the heater elements. |
