I tested an IBM ThinkPad 600 running the newest version of
Win 95 (v4.00 950B, looks almost like Win 98) by setting the
clock to just before end of 1999 and letting it roll over.
After it was registering a date in year 2000 I then sent and
received some mail with Eudora (v), ran my X-server (Netmanage
Xoftware v7.0), ran Netscape (v4.0) and rebooted a couple times.
All seemed to be ok. I have not installed any patches to the
Win 95 system for Y2K.
Unigraphics 13.0 is probably Y2K compliant. V14.0 is certainly compliant, and
is to be installed late spring. Source: Jan Boissevain
