PROSPECT is a reactor antineutrino experiment with the goals of performing precision measurements of both the short-baseline (7-12 meters) oscillations and U-235 reactor antineutrino spectrum. The PROSPECT antineutrino detector (AD) consists of about 4-ton of Li-6 loaded liquid scintillator in 154 (11x14) segments that offer excellent background rejection, position resolution, and energy resolution. Located by the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the recently fully constructed detector starts data taking in early 2018.
