Speaker: Bob Svoboda, LSU Title: Inside the Neutrino Matrix: The Search for Theta13 at Nuclear Reactors Host: Bill Louis Abstract: A new generation of reactor experiments are being planned to attempt to measure what may be the last unknown neutrino mixing angle, theta13 (depending on the outcome of the mini-BooNE experiment). The importance of this measurement to future long-baseline neutrino experiments is discussed. In addition, the challenges of performing the most precise reactor neutrino experiment ever attempted are presented.
