“An Introduction to X-Theoretical Design (XTD) Division” 

Abstract: 

 

X-Theoretical Design (XTD) is the enduring nuclear weapons physics design capability at Los Alamos National Laboratory. This presentation will give an unclassified overview of activities within the division that support the current and future stockpile as well as global security applications. We will also discuss recent national nuclear policy changes that are driving activities within XTD and other organizations within the laboratory.
