Seminar on Heavy Quark States and Nonperturbative Glue Abstract: In this seminar decays of charmonium, upsilon, and other heavy quark states which have been observed, but cannot be explained with perturbative theoretical methods, will be discussed. The talk will explain how active glue can solve the rho-pi puzzle for charmonium decays, and how the recently observed unusual sigma decays of upsilon states can be explained with hybrid state admixtures. The effect of finite temperature, and possible experimental RHIC observations if T approaches the QCD phase transition is briefly discussed.
