Title:  Spin structure of the nucleon: update from CLAS at JLab

Abstract:
Many puzzles and much uncertainty exists regarding the polarized
parton densities in the nucleon. New data from CLAS at
Jefferson Lab can help shed light on two aspects: the
longitudinal gluon polarization (through the Q2 evolution
of the g1 structure functions of the proton and especially
the deuteron); and the transverse momentum dependence of
the polarized up and down quark densities (through measurements
of semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering with different
flavor pions, on both the proton and deuteron).
