Title: Precision measurements of the neutron electric form factor, GEn, at high momentum transfers. Abstract: Nucleon form factors are important for understanding the structure of nucleons. The neutron electric form factor GEn is a measure of the charge distribution within the neutron. Till date no precise data at high momentum transfer values exist, making GEn the least well-known quantity among all nucleon form factors. Experiment E02-013 at Jefferson Lab's Hall A recently took data to measure GEn at momentum transfer values up to 3.4 (GeV/c)2 in double-polarized quasi-elastic scattering. We scattered polarized electrons off an effective polarized neutron target and measured the transverse asymmetry to extract GEn. Recent progress in analysis and some preliminary results will be shown.
