MINOS+: running MINOS in the NOVA era MINOS will be in a unique position to investigate with high precision the region of neutrino energy between 4-10GeV taking data in the NuMI beam while NOVA runs off- axis. MINOS has already made a 5-10% measurement of the parameter Dm2 and a 10% measurement of the mixing matrix parameter. The measurements of these parameters using anti-neutrinos, while less precise, show a rather significant difference from those measured for neutrinos and this has led to predictions of Non-Standard Interactions (NSI). MINOS can continue to contribute on these measurements in the high power (700 kW) NuMI-NOVA beam. The precision measurement of the spectrum can also be a microscope on completely new physics, such as NSI, sterile neutrinos and extra dimensions. Given that the idea of neutrino mass is still in its (relative) infancy, making high precision measurements in an otherwise green field region of phase space is exciting in itself.
