ONCS

• Questionnaire
  Not done.
  With the January 97 MCM prototypes, we can operate without ONCS support through the fall '97 beam test (if we should participate).
  For the MCMs that we expect to have in fall 97, we need the full Phenix environment, including DCM interfaces, DCMs, timing and control modules, Arcnet and Glink communications, an event builder etc, and this will include software components to be obtained from ONCS.

  • monitoring a few dozen temperatures, pressures, flows
  • controlling 3 temperature loops
  • monitoring a few HV channels
  Emergency shutoff done in hardware
