Conclusions

• We should avoid sharp edges in the inner region (based on study of the corner of the nosecone).
• From MVD:
  • M**2 (e+-) background increases a factor of ~2-2.5 for M**2 from ~0.1 to 0.5 GeV**2.
  • M**2 (e+-) background increases a factor of ~1.1 for M**2 > GeV**2.
