Below is a plot showing track
candidates.
We had two silicon strip detectors in the beam, one several cm downstream of
the other. Thus if you see a signal in one detector, a signal in the
corresponding channel of the other detector should be seen.
Loop over good channels in detector 1; if the signal exceeds a threshold value,
loop over channels in detector 2, and make an entry in the plot if the signal
in detector 2 exceeds the same threshold.
A diagonal can be seen. Te fact that it does not go through (0,0) means that
the detectors were not perfectly aligned. They were offset by approximately 7
channels or 1.4 mm.
