Installation Procedure

---

• Place MVD Installation Fixture on Lift Table

• Place MVD into the Installation Fixture

• Clam shell the MVD open

• Raise the Lift Table such that the endplates still clear the Nosecones

• Connect cable bundle, air cooling system 2, and liquid cooling line strain relief brackets to Installation Fixture

• Install all MVD cables, MCM air cooling adapters, air cooling system 2 hoses, and liquid cooling lines

• Put MVD Mounting Assembly pistons in retracted position

• Raise the Lift Table to be close to the correct mounting positon

• Use the fine XYZ Installation Fixture adjustments to properly place the MVD into position

• Release the two lower retracted mounting assembly pistons

• MVD pivots now in the correct positon

• Close clam shell

• Release upper mounting assembly pistons

• MVD now supported by its mounting system

• Disconnect the installation fixture

• Transfer the strain relief brackets to the central magnet locations

• Lower the lift table to an intermediate position

• Connect the MCM air cooling hoses to the adapters

• MVD installation complete
