This talk will serve as a status report and highlight issues to be discussed in detail by subsequent MuID talks (ucr97a- 13,15,19), outline key issues to perhaps be resolved, and briefly summarize conclusions of a number of recent documents already now available: QA Plan, update on number of services (phenix-muon-96-9), Straw Man Proposal, and more.
