Survey and fit 2012

On the rails, the halves approach to ~3cm, and then we check if the East and West FVTX wedges and disks will clear each other.
Station 3 wedges are visible
Small offset of the disks was observed, before the final approach
The touch probe arm
After final adjustment the halves close. We observe that station 3 closes first, than 2,1,0, then the vtx frame, due to flexing of the construction in the x-z plane. We observed that this time there was less flexing of the overall frame compared to the 2011 assembly. This is attributed to the better dressing of the VTX cables, and the trimming of the pusher rings to give them a bevel.
The touch probe verifies that we reproduce last year's positions.
These points are on the main support frame. The coordinates of the probe tip can beseen directly on the laptop screen, as shown in the inset.
