This is what an unvisited part of the tube looks like. The striations are from the tube manufacturing process.
The camera is 2mm high, almost exactly the same as the inside height of the tube. A torque of the fiber causes the corners of the camera (in this picture the top right and the bottom left) to scrape the surface of the tube. Also, since the fit is extremely close, there are tube sections where you can feel and hear the camera scrape as you pass through.
In a few places, strange gouges were seen. Not clear if they are part of the manufacturing process or not. We will try to expose one ortwo of these to have a closer look.
