Calliope

Calliope is the name of a self-contained, large acceptance, multiparticle magnetic spectrometer for intermediate-energy physics. It was built at Los Alamos (by then-group P-2). It ran at LAMPF, then took data at LBNL. It was moved to TRIUMF and operated from approximately 1982-3, to measure proton-induced pion production.
Afterwards we moved it to the CERN LEAR anti-proton ring for the next ~2 years to measure anti-proton induced pion production.
Finally the experiment went to PSI
