Cut fibers to length
|
There are 25 different lengths. The first 7 blocks are
common to each panel length (100, 100, 120, 130, 130, 145, 145 cm),
and have 14 different fiber lengths. The fibers from the 8th
blocks have 4 different lengths each.

Insert into tray
|
2 groups of 8 fibers per connector, alternating. On the right are
the scintillator blocks in red, connectors on the left in yellow.
The assembly order is as follows:
- First is connector 13, the fibers are fed under the tray's
bridges and inserted into blocks 1 and 3
- Connector 57, fibers are fed as before, into blocks 5 and 7.
- Connector 68. Fibers to block 8 go straight in, fibers to
block 6 pass over block 8.
- Connector 24 is last, fibers pass over 8 and 6.
