Probably the 1st two items listed below should be declared as bad channels in the analysis. Depending on which way they fluctuated last they can either be cut out by the online zero suppression OR can appear to give large clusters that are not real; so it's probably better just to declare them bad so they don't cause any of this confusion. ...Mike station-2 octant-7 had ~32 channels with pedestals that wandered up and down by +/- 10 to 30 adc counts for the whole run: gap-2, plane-1, strips ~120-135, id 11096, backplane channel numbers 32-39, 72-79 and 0-15 (note also that this packet is the one that Andrew noted had a stuck 0x40 bit in the word count - see Andrew's email to mutr-prod-l on June 29th. station-1 octant-3 had 16 channels that wandered up and down by 8 to 16 adc counts for 11/12/01 - 12/21/01. These were in gap-1 plane-1 strips 16-31 and id 11018 backplane channels 16-31. These were the major problems. There were also a couple of smaller problems that didn't last long: station-2 octant-1 - 32 channels for 12/21/01 - 12/24/01 (+/-16 adc counts wander) station-3 octant-8 - " " station-3 octant-5 - 32 channels for 1/9/02 - 1/10/02 (+/- 20 adc counts wander) -- Michael J.
