For each unit, these pieces were cnc'd out of delrin. From the left:
a plate to hold the preamp, a plate to hold the SiPM, two plates to
hold the scintillating bar, and an end plate.

The plates are covered on both sides with black tape. Here the
preamp is mounted, and the SiPM (just visible) is mounted in the
rectangular well in the second plate.

Backside of these same plates. Visible are the 2-pin connector on the
back of the preamp, and the 2 leads of the SIPM on the middle one.

On the far end, just the bar holder and the endplate. A piece of
foam (not visible here) is taped to the inside of the back plate, so that
it pushes gently on the fiber end. The plates are held wit 6-32 screws, and
(hot)glued in the paper sleeve. The sleeve slides into the tube.

Final assembly. There is one unit with a 2x2cm bar, and one with a 1x1
cm bar. Total length 36" for the 2x2 unit, a bit shorter for the other one.

The tubes, by the way, are 2" ID plastic tubes from the
big printer paper roll, with a double black tape cover.
