Ssh clients are available for various platforms in both freeware and commercial versions. The ones that we are aware of are listed below. Note that extensive testing has only been done for the Data Fellows Windows version and the freeware Unix version. Experience with other implementations of Ssh varies from "some" to "none".
Source code for Unix machines is freely available and can be found at the Ssh home page. A commercial version of Ssh for Unix is sold by Data Fellows.
Commercial Ssh clients for Windows and Windows NT can be obtained
from Data Fellows. The
specific product of interest is the F-Secure
SSH Tunnel & Terminal. Trial versions can be found by
clicking on the "Go To Download
Center".
F-Secure can also be purchased at LANL through ESD.
F-Secure is the recommended client and is the only MS-Windows client to provide full functionality to do all the operations described in these pages.

A freeware version of SSH was apparently embedded in one of the beta 2.0 versions of Better Telnet, an upgrade of NCSA telnet. Hopefully, the developer will release it for general consumption soon.
