“Strategic Priorities in a Time of Change”
Abstract: 
 
Over the past year or so, Directors McMillan and Wallace have correctly articulated a theme of leadership “through transition.” During my brief tenure as PADSTE, I’ve modified that theme to “urgency to and momentum through transition.” The urgency derives in part from the very favorable budget landscape that has emerged in recent months as well as due to the significant and important mission objectives the Laboratory is facing. In this presentation, which will hopefully become a discussion, I discuss this and the opportunities and challenges facing the Laboratory in the near- and lone-term.
