Subject: Re:runs with converter in Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Status: RO Dear all, I looked into a run with photon converter (run #28777-0000) as Hubert suggested. I couldn't see any difference from runs without photon converter. See http://www.phenix.bnl.gov/~ryu/public/mvd/noise.html The vertex plots from zero-suppressed run which I sent you yesterday is available at http://www.phenix.bnl.gov/~ryu/public/mvd/vertexstudy_0sup.html Somehow phenix web server is not reachable this evening so I cannot check if they are really there. I checked the event rates, and I saw 16000 events/minute processed by the event builder. However, some of these get rejected by the level-2 trigger. Still, 1 minute is probably thousands of events to disk.
