As Hubert suggested I made 2 simple plots showing linear relationship between noise level in packet and length of kapton cable. "mvdeastnoise.ps" is kapton cable length vs. pedestal width in Mvd east and "mvdwestnoise.ps" is Mvd west version. X axis has 4 points each corresponding to OB, IB, IM, OT from shortest to longest. Y axis is average pedestal width in ADC channel. More detailed but less intuitive numbers are in the attached file "noisemap". Thanks.
