For chillers #2 and #4: Go to the PC in the 1008 Rack Room. There is a terminal where it says 'HV OPC' in this (old - 2001) drawing: Choose channel 4 on the 'Raritan KVM switch port, on the lower right. This connects the screen to phoncs8, which is the PC where OPC-A runs, among other things. Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> Hyperterminal. MVD-com25.ht is chiller 2, and MVD-com27 is chiller 4. to disconnect, simply close the window. (contact: Steve Boose) For chiller #3: This port got connected to a terminal server in the IR. Go to any terminal, log in on phoncs0, and type: ts mvdchiller3. This opens a terminal window to the chiller. Type in UPPER CASE. This one is picky. to disconnect, type <CTRL>], and quit telnet. (contact: John Haggerty) For chiller #1: This chiller has a broken rs232 port. It is connected to the PC, with MVD-com24, but does not respond.
